The C chord

C_major_1_edited-1

The 0's just above the nut indicate that the string will be played "open" with out putting your finger behind any of the frets on that string. The number 3 indicates the location to place your 3rd finger on the fingerboard.

The G7 Chord

Here is another chord you learned in the First Chords section, you also learned how to number the fingers on the left hand in that section. The 1, 2, and 3 indicate the where to place the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd fingers of the left hand.

The F Major Chord

Doodah, doodah.

Oh, the doodah day.

Then fly along like a railroad car,

Doodah, doodah.

Running a race with a shooting star,

Oh, doodah day.

(chorus)

See them flying on a ten mile heat,

Doodah, doodah.

Round the racetrack, then repeat,

Oh, the doodah day.

I win my money on the bobtail nag,

Doodah, doodah.

I keep my money in an old tow bag,

Oh the doodah day.

(chorus)

Now you are ready for the next section; New Strums
