You're gonna love this - this is something fun you can do to add an exiting new element to the music in your band or group - and you don't even need to know the chords to the song!

In many situations you'll be in, you may not have a drummer (that's how Johnny Cash came up with this), with this cool trick - you can provide the rhythm!

NOTES: I recommend using two or three fingers when you strum for this because you'll want some volume.

You can use paper or a dollar bill rather than the card if you like.

Typically with instructional martials on this (how Johnny Cash used a card or dollar bill) something is missing - that's why I made this video, many will have you strum without the left hand touching the strings, with just the card or a dollar bill, that's really only half the equation. When it is preformed as I indicate in the video you have two things going on the rhythmic attack and the snare sound.
