NOTES: Certainly we could use the major pentatonic for songs in a major (A minor pentatonic scale is the same scale as C major, B minor same as D major etc...) but by using the minor pentatonic for songs ion a major key we get that cool blues sound ad that's what everybody dose...
Not everyone knows this some folks will use the major pentatonic all the time and wonder why their solos don't sound as cool as the ones they hear on the record.
I am using my 1st finger to barre the top three string for all the forms up the neck - you don't have to do that but if you can barre the strings it is an easy way to play this scale.
Uke I'm using in the video is not made anymore it's a solid cedar top with Koa back and sides, concert. Something similar that would be in production now would be a cedar top with acacia back and sides concert uke the strings I'm using are worth clears (link is to low g's which are more often in stock)
