Your First Scale - The Blues House...


The blues house is form 2 of the minor pentatonic scale, it is the easiest from other all take up four frets - this one, just two. We learned how create cool licks with form 1 before!

You may find the 'Blues House' a better starting point for you ...

Here's how we easily make the Harmonic Minor Scale.

Here it is starting and finishing on the root note - resolving on the root note when getting started playing licks will give you great sounding licks every time!!

Blues House (Pentatonic - form 2) has the following intervals: R, b3, 4, 5, and b7.

This scale is in Am, So, If you're in A or Am you can use the licks as they appear here, otherwise you have to find the root note of the song your in and move 'Blues House' scale
